Meet Dr. Jason Chin, Your Area Medical Director

Dr. Jason Chin is an Area Medical Director for Vetco Total Care, where he partners with veterinary teams across the New York metro area to build positive, healthy hospital cultures, mentor amazing doctors, and deliver exceptional patient care. Before joining Vetco, he spent more than a decade in general practice medicine, serving in progressive leadership roles including Director of Veterinary Quality, Area Chief of Staff, Chief of Staff, and practicing veterinarian.

A graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, with clinical training at Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Chin began his career in general practice after completing a small animal internship. He is passionate about helping veterinarians thrive while ensuring pets receive high-quality, practical, and compassionate care.

Dr. Chin lives just outside New York City with his wife, Jennifer, their two children, a rescue dog Mazie, a Holland Lop rabbit Simone, and foster-fail kitten named Luna.
